Home Hospital

The Home Hospital / Day care service is based on the Ayurvedic Home Hospitals of India which has 4 pillars in its foundation:

  • The Patient
  • The Physician
  • The Therapists
  • The Medicine

Roscore Clinic has also kept in mind the traditions of early Irish society to take care of the sick and injured within  local community hospitals, both private and monastic.  Early Irish communities used native herbs, sweat lodges Tigh’ n Alluis sweating houses [allus sweat] and local honey in healing. In early Irish society, the Brehon Laws set out strict guidelines in both the training of Medical herbalists, the type of building used for these hospitals and where they were located.

All four pillars must be present to operate a Home/Day Hospital. Central to this model is self-sufficiency where possible, in the supply of medicine.

The Home/Day Hospital has the basis of organisation required to provide a primary care health service for natural medicine augmented by Western Herbal Medicine and the specialist Clinical Panchakarma of Ayurveda.
